As of May 28, 2021, The Governor of New Jersey has lifted the indoor mask mandate per CDC guidelines.

  Some employees will choose to continue to wear a mask. Some will not.

     Some guests will choose to continue to wear a mask. Some with not.

     We understand and respect everyone’s choice and personal decision. There will be no judgement.

     We will continue to clean and sanitize our salon for the safety of our guests and staff.  

     We kindly ask if anyone is experiencing flu like symptoms and/or has fever of 100.4 or higher, to please refrain from entering the salon.

Salon Capelli Launches New Look, Offers Enhanced Line of Services

SUMMIT, NJ - The Hilltop City's newest salon and spa is not really new, it just feels that way.

Salon Capelli has launched their full array of services in a dramatically modernized, contemporary setting located at 447 Springfield Avenue. Formerly known as Clips of Summit, the new owners are not really new either, as long-time Clips fixtures Lori Solomine and Jodi Smith -- with more than three decades combined serving customers at the location -- have assumed ownership.

In addition to the makeover and enhanced offering, further good news is that former owner Carmella Marucci is still involved at Salon Capelli, providing a seamless transition to the salon's new era. The salon prides itself on its friendly, non-intimidating atmosphere, where men and children are welcome, and walk-ins are happily accepted.

Salon Capelli's services now include:

- Hair

- Nails

- Facials

- Massage

- Spa

The salon -- who name capelli means hair in Italian -- also has expanded its line of hair, skin, and nail products, featuring the finest offerings from Wella and Sebastian.
